From its inception more than eight years ago BlinkBid was designed to empower creative professionals with a tool to help make them business savvy without the complexity that
would take them away from being creative.
Much of what was initially designed into BlinkBid came from the experiences of a lot of different photographers. Then, as we started to grow, we started taking the art producers from the top ad agencies out for drinks. They gave us critical details of what they look for in a well formatted, easy to read bid. Then the line producers and agents found out that we liked having research meetings at cocktail lounges, so we took them out for drinks too. What you see in BlinkBid Online is the culmination of the expertise of people who live in the trenches from all facets of this industry.
BlinkBid, the company, is made up of coders, cocktail mavens, creative types, a nurse, an MBA, and a hacker on the lam from Interpol — all paid by a guy named Lou. We’re passionate about the work that we do and the service that we provide. Above all we care about our customers. As much as we’re a company looking to make an honest buck, we donate a very fair portion of our proceeds to back into the creative community.
The BlinkBid logo was designed by the famous Kory Davidson at Rehab Graphics.
