On the left-hand side, under the heading Preferences, is the Item Catalog Button.  Click on it, and you'll be taken the the item catalog window. The item catalog is the core of creating a document.  Blinkbid has three facets to the Item Catalog window:

The Active Item Catalog: the catalog you're looking at when you open the window.

The Item Catalog Library: the storage area for catalogs you create or download from our server

The Item Catalog server:  our server that we update with new types and translations of catalogs.

To add categories or line items, use the New Category or Add Line Item buttons at the top of the window.  You can store a rate, markup and tax status in the item catalog.  When you add these items to a job, the stored information will automatically be entered into the job line item

If you have a pre-existing catalog that you'd like to use, click on the Load Catalog Button. You will be prompted to chose a new catalog. Do so and click Select. The window will now show whatever catalog you selected.

If you would like to download a catalog from the Blinkbid server, hit the Get Other Catalogs Button. This will connect you to the Blinkbid server, and allow you to download other catalogs that are available.  Blinkbid is dedicated to providing item catalogs to all creative genres in as many languages as possible.  If the item catalog you need is not available, please contact us.  We'll work with you to create one and no charge to you.
