The custom settings section of Blinkbid enables the user to customize their job numbers as well as the the way the individual line items display.

There are 5 sections that you can utilize to create your job numbers.  The primary field is the next job number will be field.  This field increments by one after each new job is created.  The other fields contain static text which you can use to further identify your job numbers.

In the text before and after fields you can use the following dynamic tags:

#MM# - will convert to the current two digit month

#YY# - will convert to the current two digit year

#YYYY# - will convert to the current four digit year

The estimate and invoice indicators are used to distinguish the estimate and invoice documents in the job number.  Use the job number preview to see what your job numbers will look like when they are generated.

If you prefer to create job number on the fly, tick the Don't generate job numbers, ask me instead check box.  Each time a job is created or duplicated, you'll be prompted for a job number.

Customize line item display

Blinkbid also enables you to customize the way your line items display.  Users in foreign countries will find this section useful for language customization.  Use the preview to see what your line items will look like.
