The bank wire information preference is a personality preference meaning that it is specific to the personality.  If you do business by wire transfer fill out the appropriate fields.  The preference to print this information on your documents can be found in the Document Appearance section as well as the printing options dialog that pops up when you print a document.

Bank wire information will only print if the Routing Type ABA, SWIFT, IBAN, Routing Number and Account Number fields have a value.
