International Language Support
The core of the Blinkbid application is the Item Catalog. It’s a laundry list of everything you could possibly need for a job in the creative genre that you work in or even the language that you work in. Early on we received requests from our foreign users that they loved the product, but needed to produce documents in the their native language.

Now you can. By clicking the the Get Other Catalogs button in the Item Catalog section of the preferences, you have access to a growing list of languages and creative genres for your copy of Blinkbid. The item catalogs are always free, as is the development of a new item catalog for a genre or language not yet covered by Blinkbid. All you need to do is get in touch. As always existing Item Catalogs are completely customizable once they are loaded into your copy of the application. International Tax Codes
There is a truly dazzling amount of differing tax codes on the planet. Setting up Blinkbid to handle the tax code for your province couldn’t be easier. Blinkbid can accommodate up to three types of taxes and tax rates that can be easily combined to calculate compound or separate values. Whatever the tax code you have to contend with, Blinkbid is ready. You can store your default values in the preferences as well as have the freedom to tweak the taxes for each individual job.

Usage License
The key to rights management is the usage license. All creative endeavors belong to the author until the rights are assigned to a client for a fee. The only thing more difficult than explaining those rights to a client is writing them down. Blinkbid offers a Usage License Builder to easily create a legal paragraph to protect your work. Answer five questions and let Blinkbid do the rest. For those of you who prefer to use the language of your legal team, Blinkbid offers a preference area for your default text that can be interspersed with active tags that will convert to the referenced information from the job when the jobs is created and your default text is entered.

Terms & Conditions
Currently Blinkbid supports Terms and Conditions for two countries. We’re aiming for a whole lot more which is why our legal folks are working with associations from four other countries to create terms and conditions specific to those regions. As we did for the APA in the United States, Blinkbid pays for the legal research and creation of Terms and Conditions documents. We then donate the result to the association we’re working with as well as add it to our list of available T&Cs in the software. We believe very strongly that everyone should have access to protective legal documents, not just the customers of our product.

Foreign Coin
Blinkbid supports currency ISO codes for 102 countries. The ISO code is set automatically when choose the country for the personality that you create. Which brings us to the next topic…

Personalities
No where else except in the creative industries can you be lauded for having multiple personalities. Advertising shooter by week, wedding shooter on the weekends. Blinkbid gives you the power to manage your personalities separately. However the application of the Personalities feature goes way beyond having two types of businesses. Agencies use Blinkbid Personalities to manage each one of their talent pool individually. Each Blinkbid Personality stores its own logo and preferences which makes it ideal for users who work in multiple countries.
